Camera Lock For Mouse
Adding the option to toggle a camera lock to the mouse movement with the right mouse button instead of always having to hold it to move the camera around. Also possibly add the ability to adjust camera angles to be higher up like or more behind the character like a 3rd person view.

I recently started playing and don't like how the controls and camera feels when not holding the right mouse button. I have chronic hand problems so I had to find a solution where I don't need to hold right button all the time. A toggle macro does the trick but needs to be toggled off for every menu or gui element. RetroCamera mod with their action does what i want very well but it has major bug right now probably because of the October patch. So... I will wait for a fix from the modder, a feature from the dev or worst case I will have to play something less hard on my hands. -

NikriinAgreed!
When I started playing, the camera movement was probably my biggest problem with the game.
I've gotten more used to it, but I'd still really love a way to just have the camera angle follow the mouse like in so many other games! -

Zephyr651This works extremely well. The ModernCamera mod does most of this, but in a more clunky way. You can also just look around and aim where you're looking like any other 3rd person game. I don't play the game without this mod because it makes everything so much nicer without having to hold down right click to constantly adjust the camera. It would just be nice to have this feature baked in as an option so I don't have to wait for the modders to update the mods whenever a new game update comes out.

DavidI think what they are really asking for is a "normal" 3rd person mode, where abilities are always targetted straight ahead. Then right mouse can be locked to camera, and turning the camera will always change your aim..
VRising really isn't designed to be played this way. I've always played the game more like a top-down ARPG, just with the ability to choose the camera orientation in moments where that is important. -

RobbPlease, this! Even just an option to enable "Action Camera" that binds the camera to the mouse.
Give players the option to play how it's most comfortable to them.
