Make single player actually host from the players connection not a dedicated server. no one wants connection issues playing solo in there own world.

Just to be clear...when you play on a solo/private server, that is running on your machine..... If you have "connection issues" it's performance issues because your computer can't run the server and the client without there being a server stutter long enough for the client to think your LOCAL server is not available.

As the other poster said, you can improve this by changing the autosave and compression settings..

So the ask here is for them to optimize the server auto-save so it doesn't stutter the server so much on a low powered computer.

I believe some of the "connection issues" pop ups when playing solo actually come from how the autosave (which occurs every minute) is compressed. I changed some of my server settings in the ServerHostSettings.json file so that it autosaves every 5 minutes and doesn't compress the files, and I've had no "connection Issues" pop up since.

Agreed. Why would the game have any network connection other than saving.

dude... i love this game but it it insanely frustrating to play solo... hosting my own game and having constant connection issues... sometimes its unplayable...they need need need to fix this...
