Rapier weapon type

This game could really use some stylish, nobleman-esque weapons to fit in with the classical vampire lore and atmosphere! A fencing style of weapons (Rapiers, smallswords, sabers, epee) would fit that style well! Also I just love fencing weapons. It could fill a tight cone, long range, rapid attacks niche with perhaps a leaping thrust and fast flourish for abilities. Really would love this!

Really cool ideas, love the rapier, maybe can add an impaler with mobility on second skill and a sort of counter + stun (like New World reposte) on third skill

Those are both good ideas, Spinex! Having played the game a bit more (and tried the spear :p) I see there's already a long-range, small cone weapon with a rapid attack; I think a relatively close-range small cone, focusing on speed and fighting one on one, with a lunge (mobility plus perhaps a slow or snare?) and a riposte (parry and counterattack) sound like good ideas.
Also, I could see the rapier having its +25% damage go to non-boss humans? That's an unfilled niche (possibly deliberately, though both creatures and undead have weapons especially effective against them), and if the rapier was more focused on one-on-one fights and less good at dealing with large groups of enemies it could be a good balancing point.
