Castle Gates (Anti-Honeycomb)
PvP castle sieging can be made into a nightmare due to honeycombed bases that are 100s of doors in a row. It results in hideous castles that are a nightmare to navigate for the inhabitants but are “optimal” for PvP by slowing the attacker to make sieges take hours.
Instead of having every door be as sturdy as a stone wall, why not have a different type of door as a “Castle Gate”. These gates could be far more limited in how many could be placed down. The end result would be castles with 3 - 6 or so such Gates that have the same durability as stone walls, while normal doors would break far more easily (one hit from a golem).
This would incentivize players to design castles not as honeycombs, but to be more creative with their defensive designs and end up with a more engaging siege PvP experience.

HazadoI would say in general doors should be weaker than walls and that alone would help

JiveBuddhaYeah a specialized door would help base design be cleaner, but still allow people to be creative with their kill-rooms. Honeycombs are boring and restrict people who want more aesthetic designs for their bases while also being sturdy for pvp.
