Moon phases
We need more moon phases then just the blood moon. So based on the natural moon cycles here we go; Full Moon has all the effects of the gibous half and crescent moons stacked. A blood Moon, would happen every four full moons; as for what it does differently, I have no idea.
As for what the other moons do including the new moon, here we go.
- Crescent moon; bonus to spell power.
- Gibbous moon; Bonus to movement.
- Half moon; Bonus to attack.
- New Moon; Blood truce PvP is not possible under the auspices of the New moon.*
About the new moon; currently as part of the pvp meta camping certain v bloods is a serious thing that can drive people away from playing while "truce windows" won't stop people from camping it will at least provide a window for lower ranking player to do there thing "safely". Other then that it provides a resource harvest bonus, and last for three nights. And the truce counts through the two days that happen over the three nights.

To help players track the on coming and going of said such moon phases I propose a exterior placeable that adds functionality to the current moon dial (space for such just under 1x1 cell). Basically the moon dial adds functionality player UI to help facilitate where in the moon cycle you are and when the next blood moon is. -

I saw that the suggestion for moon phases was already made, but more in touch with buffs similar to the blood moon. What I wanted to suggest is that the moon cycles could play a part in the lighting of the game.
Currently it seems we are always on a full moon, providing us with natural light during night time, now imagine how chaotic it would be in complete darkness on a new moon?
In your solo playthrough, how intimidating it would be finding in the darkness of the night a group of enemies, but you are unsure who your foes are, as you can only see the light from their torches. Or in PVP, it would gave many opportunities for players to engage secretly on new moons.
And of course, to counter this, there could be new items like torches that we can hold or lanterns that can be put on a new equipment slot such as our belt! (Thanks Kenshi lol)
So yeah, quite specific, but I think it would spice the gameplay u -

Vlad de la SimWould be cool with a new boss that can only be found/fought during a blood moon. A device to predict the blood moon, or other moon phases, could be useful and cool.

RobsterI think even adding something like an eclipse, which would give the player a disadvantage instead of an advantage, would also be nice. Like an eclipse makes you slower or drains your blood faster, or you have your damaged halved, something like that. This could make the game a bit more strategic in my opinion and if that is something you don't like it also could be a toggable option when creating a game.
