NarutoI didn't realize family sharing wasn't a thing for every game until I tried to play this game on a family account the game was shared to.

CheeAgree, you can just disable family share if you don't want players to share but better not "allow family share" but actually don't

Rukio+1 on this. I have friends who share their account with siblings. So when they're off at work, their family can play their games.
You also can't play things like free weekends. It's free weekends and you can't play a temporarily free game if you have sharing enabled! -

Jason Sheldon ArencibiaI'm always trying to get my kids to try new games other than Fortnite. but I'm not buying games that will never be played, It's nice when I can share games to their accounts!

NonyaI had heard good things about this game, and wanted to give it a try but when I went to play from a siblings Shared Library it said "game not owned". I have never run into a problem with Shared Library on steam, this is the first game where it didn't allow it. I would have bought a copy if I liked it but without the shared feature I'll never know. I'm really hoping the devs fix this but seeing that the same problem was reported in August it doesn't seem that the devs care.

ali don't like this decision, also because steam doesn't say anything about family sharing on this game, you discover this limit only afther purchase

DogeAdd family share and suddenly players can have multiple accounts logging off in bat form to safekeep multiple armor/weapons/etc.
So please, don't. -

DadBlows my mind. People use family share for many reasons, and most the time it's not to avoid paying for the game. In fact, in a multiplayer game, it's definitely not to avoid paying for it. If you think about it, they would want to buy the game in order to play it with their friend. I was going to let my 2 kids try my wife and my copy to see if they like it. I wanted to see if they would play it before buying it. Since they cannot even try the game without logging onto my account with access to my characters/maps, you can forget it. I'll just keep my $40.

RatPlease add family sharing so I can convince my friend/s to play this with me, its a great game. But its hard to get my friends to play it if they don't know it they'll like it. If you add family sharing it will be much easier to convince them to buy it! I miss playing this game with people.

SmoggyFamily share opens up a lot of possibilities for exploits, it would be very silly to allow that. Multiple bases for loot is the most obvious one.

Rioter Neeko#0640they had it blocked in the first place because you could steam share the game to more of your accounts and then stack servants and castles for defense, but with the new territory system might be a good thing to enable family share with a bit of tweaking since stacking is 90% no longer an option
