Support for Steam browser protocol CONNECT links or +CONNECT command line argument
It would be really helpful for those of us running private servers if V Rising would either allow direct connections using the Steam browser protocol (steam://connect/[IP]:[PORT]) or using the "+connect" command line argument on launch - as it stands, players connecting to my private server have to type the IP address every time.
Thanks :)

Alena Sk. MergedCurrently, players can directly connect to servers using an IP address. However, they are unable to connect via URL. Please implement this feature.

Raffaele Liguristeam://run/1604030//connect=<ConnectionString>
works but it seems we don't have support for
steam://connect/...
so we currently cannot connect to a server by browser when the game is already running? -

GorianFYI, These two are unrelated. One is regarding compatibility with the Steam URL scheme, and the other refers to the lack of DNS support within the actual game, such as when trying to direct connect to a server. Other than that fact that they both use IPs, and DNS names resolve to IPs, they are fundamentally unrelated feature requests. (granted the use of the word "URL" when they meant "DNS name" was unnecessarily confusing)
