Increase movement speed in castles
It would be nice to have a "home turf" movement speed buff of 50% in your home castle since running around the workshops in a 250 tile castle doing your daily household stuff is just too time consuming. The "solution" of running around as a wolf all the time is unimmersive as it's quite a challenge for a wolf to handle a forge and a loom with claws and fangs. ;-)
Maybe make it only available if not holding a weapon to mitigate PvP issues or make it available in PvE only.

WatergunShould also add stats in pants (boots included?) to increase movement speed.

BurritoYou do get a movement speed boost if you put down carpets.

loopyo, didn't know about the 15% move speed on royal carpets
that is so cool
but that is only on the royal carpet, not the normal one
I think all castle flooring should increase move speed an additional 15% btw
cobblestone and carpets should be an additional 15% -

AgniescuI am aware of the carpet speed buff. My suggestion stands, though.

ZlaxCould make a "hallway" floor type that adds another 15% movement speed. This way while moving between rooms you actually move faster and there is another option for different hallway looks.

AedyrDefinitely a good QoL feature for immersion. You want to be in vampire form while brooding around your castle.

BunnychompQuite simply, I find it annoying to have to go into wolf form while building, as walking is painfully slow while editing your creation. Suggested features:
- A buff that triggers when entering owned castle ground, at least the same as wolf speed increase
- A spell only usable inside castles that makes you ephereal allowing movement through walls etc., and increases speed
- A buildable item that results in the above suggested buffs, perhaps it shrouds the castle in a mist when activated allowing you to "slip through the shadows" faster
This could be set to immediately disable when entering PvP, or if a non-clan members enters the grounds
The bottom line here is what is fun, and what is not. It is not fun having creep around your base like a crippled snail. It is fun, to be able to quickly move around and do things when at home. -

UnfawkableI want this so much. It's super immersion breaking when I just run around the castle as a wolf all day long, instead of as a Vampire. The portals alleviate the problem very slightly. Please give Wolf move speed while on home turn, and while not under siege.

someoneValheim had a nice system where if you add more decorations, you get a better buff. V Rising already has this with carpets, but it could be expanded to include other decorations/wallpapers as well.

SagiIt should not be necescary to change into wolf mode for quik accesing everything in the castle, upvote!
The speed boost could be cancelled once enemies are attacking you wehter them be other players or npc.
