Keep tracking roaming bosses after encounter
Please let us keep tracking roaming bosses after an encounter. If the boss fight goes south and you need to back off, there is a chance that you cannot find the boss anymore. It's frustraiting to go back to base and start the tracking all over again.

Erik MergedCurrently finding a tracked V Blood ends tracking.
This assumes a player is ready to engage that V Blood and win without needing to fight off another player, dodge/disperse wandering mobs, respawn, complete their current objective, stock up on supplies, etc.
Since the ultimate goal of tracking a V Blood is the feeding upon said NPC it is practical to end
tracking at this point. The V blood tracker itself seems well designed to not intrude upon gameplay or combat thereby minimizing the impact of having last a little longer. In fact some fights get a little crazy with trees or walls obstructing views and V Bloods do run, so the continued tracking might enhance these fights.
A QoL feature for players who want to stop tracking earlier would be to simply allow those players to stop it.
Thank you. -

Thomas Elvidge MergedWhen you find a boss you have been tracking, the tracking stops. I guess this is to not block combat and make it easier to see what's happening (which is good). However, if I have to retreat for whatever reason, I find myself unable to relocate the boss and have to go ALL the way back to base to track the boss again.
How about pausing the tracking when the boss is aggro on you and stopping it completely when it's defeated. -

Alex MergedWhen tracking certain roaming V Blood bosses such as Christina the Sun Priestess or Tristan the Vampire Hunter it would be useful if the V Blood Tracking would persist until the boss is defeated, not just until you initiate combat with them. At times you need to retreat and heal then try again. By the time you are ready to try again the boss has reset and run back to it's roaming path. However, initiating combat with them the first time disabled the v blood tracking, which means you have to go all the way back to your castle to track them again with the blood altar.

MFDeltaIf an issue is the tracking effects getting in the way of the fight, the visual part could be temporarily suspended while the player is in combat with the V Blood holder.
