Add granular build permissions to items
Context:
I play official & community PvE servers. It's hard to help others unless you are in the same clan which involves a lot of trust or risk and can create grief.
We should be able to:
1A. Set object INTERACTION TYPE to self, clan, or public. Interaction is when you: open doors, use crafting stations, use soul shards, use Vampire Waygates.
1B. Set object INTERACTION MODE to add-only, or add-and-remove. Useful for chests and mist braziers. Dangerous for crafting stations (can craft/add items, can't remove completed crafts). Nice-to-have, probably hard to implement.
2. Set object EDITABILITY to self, clan, or public. Editability is anything you can do in build mode: move, rotate, pick up.
Examples in-game:
Mist braziers have interaction type=public, mode=add-and-remove. Chests use type=self (PvE) or public (PvP) and mode=add-and-remove.

Kristopher Penland MergedI think it would be beneficial to allow container permissions. So that even within a game you could set specific containers to be publically accessible (if you want to help others), clan accessible, or private or only me (if you don't want clan members to have access). I think for this castles need to be associated with the specific player rather than the clan as a whole (which I think is already the case to some degree, as when I leave a clan I keep my castles). Anything containers placed within "my castle" would be eligible for me to set up custom container asset permissions on

Shady Guy From Internet MergedChest should have access permissions imo
There should be 3 levels of access
- Self -- Only the castle owner(heart owner) can access the chest
- Clan members -- All clan members can access the chest. This should the default permision.
- Others -- All members can access the chest
This will make sharing items between clan members and others more flexible in both PvP and PvE servers -

Shady Guy From Internet MergedThere can be 3 levels of access permissions
1. Self/Private - only castle owner(heart owner) can access the chest/prison
2. Clan members - All clan members can access chest/prison. This should be default
3. All - All vampires can access the chests/prison
This feature will allow ppl to have private chests and giveaway chests for ppl visiting your castle -

Sypha MergedI feel that clans should be like a guild where you have your friends and you can do whatever together but leave the castle inventory and such private.
Its hard to find friends in this game when you have to really be sure you know the people before getting a clan together.
Why not have an options to put your castle under:
- "private"
- "allow visits"
- "allow sharing inventory"
so we don't have to be afraid they are gonna steal or destroy your hard work...
it makes it a bit hard to make friends in game if you can't trust them to keep their hands off your inventory. I had alot of loot and stupid as I was I figured I didn't want to be "alone" so I joined some nice people, 3 of us in a clan, and I got robbed, is this really how you want the game to be? just curious.
Please make some changes so we can make friends without having to KNOW they won't steal it makes people go singelplayer in a multiplayer game. -
