Weather Cycles With Buffs and Debuffs
Night, day, and bloodmoon are great and all, but it would be nice if we had more weather cycles. It would be great if those cycles affected our stats, too. Maybe if it's snowing, Ice magic gets a buff. It doesn't even have to be realistic weather, either. There could be a "Chaos Cloud" aspect that affects Chaos Magic and makes the environment colorful.
Weather could even be regional!
I just feel like the bloodmoon is a bit underwhelming, especially when it's the only variety on the time cycles.

Von MergedThe days and the passage of time need to become more dynamic and immersive. I think the ideal would be to make SEASONS since the passing of the days in the game has no real relevance. Every 90 days or so the season could change (summer, winter...etc) Each season could have a passive effect on the night and day cycles (longer nights in winter, more damaging sunlight in summer...etc) as well as a series of associated climatic effects (snowfall in winter, rain and fog in autumn, torrential rain and solar waves in summer... etc) that would also have a direct impact on the damage caused by the sun. Being spring and summer two more dangerous seasons to go outside during the day and winter and autumn the most beneficial for it.
This change of seasons could also be reflected in human villages in the form of popular festivals or events (such as harvest festivals or religious celebrations...etc) or even in events related to celebrations in real life. -

EarlGray MergedDay/night cycle is great. It would be great to have an option to have seasons where the day/night ratio changes. Days are longer in the Summer, shorter in the Winter, etc.
When I noticed the clouds creating a shadow you could hide under I thought it would be great to add different weather conditions that impact players ability to hide in the shadows. Rainy days or overcast days where you would see less sunshine. Storms with a chance of lighting. -

Drew ShepardHeavy Rain : Shrouds the map and minimap while the rain is in full effect. Rain should occur in portions of the map, and that certain portion is shrouded by the rain.
Blizzards : Same as the above, but in winter conditions. Also the blizzard is obfuscating your normal view, so you cant tell where you are going. You use your wits and learn the map in normal conditions in order to navigate during said blizzard. (Slight debuff to movement speed, but no other damage) -

GinsengThis is off steam but i wrote it down because it was so good, not my idea originally though I expanded upon it a bit.
- Weather Control, a new room type full of objects to fully unlock requiring multiple stations that allows players to exert control over the day/night cycle. At first maybe targeting mission areas like where you send your servants or where you would want to be farming, overcast the area so you don't have to worry about it but elsewhere it may be sunny on the return trip. This could also change the success chance/yield/mission time for servant missions, people may also put a penalty on an area they want to keep people out of. Later on you could summon blood moons by using rare materials and even lengthen or shorten the night, this could be used to put pressure on siege attackers or help with a siege. I admit this might be difficult to implement and would maybe throw some other systems out of wack but it could be a lot of fun if it could be worked out! -

Broc WWould also like to add: Eclipses(Day Cycle is almost non existant, Blood Moon Eclipse OOOO), Clear Skies(No Clouds), Holy Day(Sun is 2x more effective), Solstice(Night cycle is almost non existant)

TimI don't understand why people are suggesting seasons. It's almost like they haven't played the game. There is already a winter biome on the map which I love. I don't want seasons to happen and then the biome is removed. Bad idea. There should be Solstice Events, and other special events (maybe world events/holidays) that come up on the clock cycle though.
