Vampire Hunters
I know the game is tied to early acess and the focus surrounds the vampire race, but I think the possibility of playing a human and a hunter in specific could appeal towards a lot of folks. While no doubt people enjoy the chaotic mechanics of vampire vs vampire and the constant danger in the world, the possibility of expanding these conflits towards a faction related struggle could enrich the game.
Maybe a future expansion in a few years, but regardless, a war between mortals and immortals, making the day even more deadlier for vampires and the night feared by the hunters, there could be even some men related hubs, constructions, a bounty system, traps, unique abilities, etc.

Rodrigo Mergedbeing able to play as a human and have a vampire hunter class like the NPCs in which I would develop great story and PVP for the RP- Roleplay servers

Vlad Dracula MergedTo get more casual players involved and interested, a drop in server option where the map has a religious human city (Holy warriors/Vamp hunters) off to the right and a Vampire city (Vampires) to the left.
The building bases would not be included and instead these cities would have all the buildings you need (saves people time running around the current servers looking to even try to make a start).
V-bosses still in the game but for holy warriors/Vamp hunters collect a head or some memorabilia to take back to the city to turn in for specialised training or loot.
PVP would be obviously a human vs vampire situation.. Vamps can turn humans into vampires (keeps gear) and humans can smite/stake Vampires (Vamp will start all over again as a human (loses all gear).
I think the main focus is giving everyone who joins a server a chance to play and not spend what ever extra free time they had on trying to find/build a base.
Maybe I just want to be a juicy human once more. -

Sonus MergedIt would be awesome if you could play as the humans or something, could be called Vampire hunters, and you choose which you will be when you make the character. the lore could be they were converted by a vampire as a servent and managed to escape their hold and now hunt as a converted vampire. These humans could use the elemental skill trees vampires likely wont use like Fire,Light, Nature etc.

Count Von Count MergedA second faction would be great, either humans or werewolves. I find PvP is lacking at the moment. Or why not both?

zMuath MergedWhy don't you add Vampire hunter character alongside vampires, and different bosses items and quests for Vampire hunters, and if they kill a vampire player they get a great reward (and the same for vampires).
I think it will be great update and it will be more exciting to play. -

PiperI want to point out that the game can add being a vampire hunter as a vampire. You can be a vampire and also be a vampire hunter. And the game could support many of these mechanics without introducing a new playable faction.
1
1. Ability to track other vampires
2. Rewards and bounties for killing specific high-bounty vampires
3. traps, everything else you mention, etc
In terms of incorporating Vampires as Vampire Hunters within the lore, it's already incorporated for free in my opinion. Just look at Styx -- he says "you are my target" when he attacks and he's a vampire. So, he's kind of like the highest lvl vampire hunter in the game (above tristan and jade). Of course, this lore piece could be flushed out more.
So, adding a new playable faction is not required for adding vampire hunter mechanics. And, these mechanics would be a huge improvement to the game in my opinion. -

CthuluIsSpy MergedI noticed that PvE is a little barren and devoid of risk; unlike PvP there is no risk of getting intercepted by other players and getting attacked or your castle getting raided.

What I suggest is that in some areas, namely Silverlight and Dunley, there is a chance that you will gain a stack of notoriety after attacking npcs or villages. When you get enough stacks a band of stronger than usual mobs will spawn and hunt you down as long as you remain in that respective region or even attack your castle.
The rate that you gain these stacks could depend on the region you're in; in Cursed Woods and Hollowed Mountains they would be the lowest (because no one really lives there) whereas in Silverlight and Dunley they would be at the highest (because they really, really hate vampires).
Hopefully, this should make PvE a little more challenging. I'm not sure how it would affect PvP though, maybe it would make for some chaotic battles between opposing players and hunters? -

DoctorSaxI support this idea wholeheartedly. It would definitely add to the gaming pop, fun and longevity of V Rising!
