More armor and weapons options for customization
I would like to see weapons that do magic damage, abilities that do physical damage. With this, create new magic based weapons like blood orbs, unholy staves, chaos focus etc...
Next expand the armor system to allow for a cloth/leather/metal armor system. Cloth with spell bonuses, leather would be balanced and metal physical bonuses. With all of this combined, would allow for player customization and build diversity.

Tyfornot sure about the specifics, but at the moment evryone is running around with the same gear (spell crit + bloodmoon gear + chaos voley) there is not much difference between fighting two different persons, different armor sets (atleast in endgame) would be much appreciated.

Xandei deff agree that more armors are needed, but i dont think simply limiting it by cloth leather metal is a needed thing. just add more armors and weapons. and spell types to make the game more diverse for the players.

Herathrig MergedV rising team can you add more vampire aristocrat cloth armor sets? Like vampire ball set, vampire blood mage armor, vampire sorceress costume.
3
you know the classic vampire trope where they always wear aristocrat clothing, the game lacking with these things, too much armor, not much fantasy formal vampire cloths. take a look at other vampire fiction.
example, add alucard , or Castlevania costume look a like, classic 1930s dracula, nosferatu set, the of samurai armor of vlad in dracula 1992. For the girls the game already has elviras hair style, why not add an elvira vampire sorceress set? or morticia addams costume? that type. -

HerathrigAgreed, give us vampire mage players magician uniforms. Cloth armor being physically weak but magically powerful is a great idea! Mixing and matching armor pieces to make combos magic bonus is also a great idea.

Cody MergedI love this game a ton after 100 hours and building my castle I found myself wanting more Capes or at least ones with different designs or even one that is simply all black and red combos and other amor appearances to really make your character unique.

mewinglokiI'd love to see it be taken as far as actual sets with different perks, bonuses etc at each tier as you suggest. Though I'd also be open to adding a large number of alternate sets with the same bonuses (maybe differing ingredients) just for the sake of visual variety and customization. Actual functional differences being the stretch goal!

Monger MergedThis may be something that is already being planned, as I know a lot of the artwork shows some heavily armored vamps, but I would really like to see different armor types at each tier. I think that just three categories could be enough, with Heavy, Light, and Robes.
Heavy Armor would be plate armor (alternatively, depending on tier: chitin, bone, etc.) that possibly trades in some speed for extra health, but has set bonuses that include some limited damage reduction, life steal, and/or Physical Power, and any other benefits that lend to the frontline fighter fantasy.
Light Armor is the tier we have in the game, with bonuses to movement speed, attack speed, crit chance, and Physical Power, and any other benefits that lend to the rogue and skirmisher archetype.
Robes might trade in some health for Spell Power, with set bonuses that reduce the cooldown on spellcasting, increase spell crit chance, and anything else that lends itself to a mage archetype. -

Rhomee MergedCan we get an armor set that looks just like the one being worn by the male vampire in the game's promo and store thumbnail art, pretty please? Especially that sweet-looking collar. Was really disappointed to see none of the in-game armor sets looked like it.

Patrick MergedIt would be great if you could have multiple armor sets of the same tier with different stats to specialize more individually in magical power or physic power, maybe even special sets just for chaos, frost, etc.

Dyf MergedThe unique named Scythe recipe you got from an orb after defeating one of the undead Commanders was really cool. It would be nice for there to be more drops like that for some slightly unique named variants of weapons at different tiers. Just for a bit of flavour

Daemon MergedGuys, I think it would be cool if the game had a weapon like kusarigama. In general, some blades on chains with a long attack distance. And of course I would like it to be expensive and rare)

Jake TurkleeArmor. Cosmetically, I agree. But I would leave this element for headwear. From a gameplay point of view, it makes no sense to make different types of armor according to their characteristics, because part of that task is performed by a trinket. Toward the end of the game, we have 6 types of amulets, each of which has its own set of characteristics that relates us to a specific gameplay. We also have blood types that add more magic bias or weapon damage to our builds.
So visually, I agree. Make it so that the player can check the headgear so that not only the headgear itself is displayed, but the entire skin. This won't take away the visuals it has now, but it will allow the hats to be more cosmetic. -

Jake TurkleeThrowing knives;
Orb of shadows;
Magic staff;
Bat bow;
Fury Whip.
Throwing knives
Ranged weapons that allow you to throw knives at your opponents. Weapon from the category of auxiliary damage at a distance.
Orb of Shadows
Deals magic projectile damage, can absorb enemy projectiles. The idea for a weapon from the category of the main weapon for magicians.
Magic Staff
Normal attack deals magic damage in the area of attack, not projectile. Another idea for ancillary damage at a distance, for example for mages.
Bat Bow
Weapons, unusual for vampires, but still. The idea is to make the weapon look something like a cross between a quick-firing pistol and an armor-piercing crossbow. Add a long-range bow, with the ability to sometimes shoot quite far. Something similar to Jumong from Battlerite.
Fury Whip
I already wrote about this in another article, but here I will just mention Darksiders 3 and Castlevania. -

Marcus MergedI love the ancestral weapons. What if we could also bind a spell to a weapon?
Additionally, what if you could combine spells? An example might be Corrupted Skull and Ward of the Damned. Combining them could fire the shield forward, making skeletons along the path of every bad guy or incoming missile it touched. -

JoJoAlso I totaly get the point of designing a skillbased vs. farming-based gear, I realy would like to see some different Stats or at least perks on different endgame cloth (highest prior), and also on weapons (lesser important). Midgame would be good, to, just for the feeling.
I like the gemsystem according magic. So I sugest something like this according to cloth and weopons, to.
Even if recipe or mandatory items would only dropp RNG by some Bosses this would be great. -

DraycoAh, we have FINALLY reached the point where customizing is being focused on! Awesome!
I also agree with the sorceress outfits, notably a pelvic curtain or double split dress. (Tharja from Fire Emblem could be a source of inspiration for this, along with other magic users in media.) Maybe also with some high heel footwear for the seductress types, maybe even make it a whole armor set line like Mage > Sorceress > Temptress > Seductress > Succubus or something. Although... Vanity or Glamored armor would be a nice feature, the appearance is one type but you get the effects of another. (This could also be used as a PvP element to give opponents a false impression of how your character is built. Although the equipped weapon might still be a giveaway...)
A "dark priest/nun" armor set might be neat for characters as well... -

DraycoRan out of room...
There should also be the option to customize weapons by using different jewels for different effects, much like the jewel accessories. (Ruby for Leech, Amethyst for Ignite, Emerald for Condemn, etc.)
I'm also in support for three more weapon types: bows, staves, and battlestaves. All made using the existing woodworking bench which otherwise doesn't have a lot of use. Bows have been wanted as an alternative to pistols and crossbows, and staves could further boost magical damage, reduce spell cooldowns, and increase/add spell effects. Battlestaves would be a spear built around the jewel/focus of a staff. It has reduced magic boosts, but also has increased melee potential and has additional effects based on the type of jewel used in making it.
