Servant Tasks
First off, loving the game. I've quickly fallen in love with the feel, look, and play. You all are doing an amazing job!
If it's possible, I'd like to suggest servant tasks. My meaning; Servant's (could be Worker classes specific) would be able to pull items from a designated chest and properly refine said item. Example: Servant removes Cotton from chest next to Loom and then places Cotton in Loom to be refined into Cotton Yarn.
I'm sure the coding for this would be "You want what!?" but it's a suggestion.

Peu MergedWhile at the castle they could do things like pick up stuff in the ground, gather flowers, trees and ore nodes. It would make them more usefull and alive. Later on they could have options on what they should do.

zeroTAGReally like this idea, gives me the Logistics Robot from Factorio vibe. Putting a work order for them, so they could somewhat automate some small chores. I definitely would use this to auto-organize my chests, by having a single dumping chest, and my servants would sort them.

lolwhat MergedSmth like a small colony-management interface with the castle layout to move then around, stand still at some particular gates\entrance as a guards, give them assignments to production rooms, such as forge, tailor, etc. with maybe 4th bonus added to the room if it has assigned servant for particular job, mini "rimworld" in your own castle so to speak

Pedro MergedCurrently servants pat around your castle. I think an option to get them to defend a certain room in your castle would be useful. Especially with crypt flooring I often time don't use it because I put the coffins scattered in my base for base defense. Also find a way to discourage honeycomb strats. It's boring to seige 15 layers of honeycomb

lupworker servants right now are not useful for base defense
so they should be able to speedup production in a room -

Dripyula MergedI recommend for the ability to have a single servant follow us around everywhere and fight with us.
Of course only one bodyguard for player since the game seems to be balanced so that the battles against the V-bloods are challenging.
And you could just bring an "adventurer party" with you and then it wouldn't be difficult anymore.
With enough time we could equip them all with high-end gear and then steamroll all V-bloods.
Probably a legite battle-tactic for those who would invest the times to gear everyone up probably.
But still it would take away the sometimes pretty intense battles. :)
And even with a single well-equipped bodyguard I expect the difficulty to fall rapidly.
Some servant types obviously have Tank/Healer & dmg dealer potential.
But til now I steamrolled through all V-bloods up to the Werewolf King by myself and enjoyed how intense it was.
Still it would be cool if I had a sidekick of my own chosing. -

But yeah, I'd like to at least be able to assign servants at least to certain areas, so they're not always wandering around and getting under foot (for loot storage, and construction)
Having them speed up production would be a nice extra bonus :) -

PapaProne MergedNPCs who can fetch you items from your chests. Say your workshops and chests are spread apart in your castle, these NPCs could be given orders to fetch your things when at a crafting bench. They should loosely follow you in your castle or you should have an ability to call for them within castle grounds.

Emrot MergedCould Servants get an upgrade? Allow me to dump all my materials on a servant, and they take those materials to a chest with an existing stack of those materials and deposit them.
That way I just return to the castle, unload my materials on a servant, and have them do all the work. It would be a great time saver and very thematic.
One of the slow points in this game for me is inventory management, particularly when coming back to the castle from a run and figuring out where to put all my materials. The "Compulsively Count" option is great, but I still have to open each chest and click the button. -

Posible companions that aid us in combat.
Do precise actions inside the base, like guarding x area, play animations, etc.
Help in workshops or doing crafts. -

Ausslendiiv MergedI think it would be very handy to have servants be able to do things like taking raw items and refining them. Or perhaps delivering materials between castles. Me and my friends have a private server with 5 of us, and delivering materials between castles can be tedious. For PvP, caravans could even be attacked by other players if they so want.

stations can have a small lock next to each recipe that you use to 'lock' the recipe so the servants would not craft that one (or set an 'expected' amount to be crafted, and they keep bringing materials until the requirement is fulfilled) or simply assign them to a station to keep it producing with materials inside the chests.
or for example let's say you want to always have 100 iron bars ready, they would gather iron from the chests (or other station's output, and use it until 100 iron bars are ready)
they could be placed in a different coffin, to balance it out not being able to defend, only work.
and even consume blood at a higher rate of the heart for every active worker
that would make people decide wisely if they want to invest the servants into defense+expo or just the work aspect, either way anything close to castle management by servants would be great. especially to see them move in th -

On a similar note, it would be a huge quality of life improvement to be able to build/craft from any chest in the castle. Or at the very least have a designated "supply depot" storage container for the same purpose. -

B站一般布拉德 MergedI often put the servants' coffins, graveyards, and insect dens in the same room to have them kill monsters, but I have a lot of trouble picking up dropped objects. The pick and interact buttons cause me to frequently open the servants' and graveyard interfaces.

PRolos MCholos MergedThe current system isn't bad, but it honestly feels kind of lacking in my opinion. Servants are basicly gear up, send for resources and that's all, at least for in PVE. I feel like adding more features would improve how they feel, even something like looks costumisation, or just overall more uses around a castle, maybe something like non-teleportable resource transportation between castles, or clearing out lower level v-bloods again. Obviusly these are only some ideas, I bet you or the devs have more/better ones, but overall I don't feel like in the current system your servants live up to the potential of their ideas.
For example in many movies/vampire stories servant's are almost more active or do more things than vampires, but since this game is a vampire rpg, I understand why the goal isn't that. -

Chris MergedI think servants could be a bit better if they were more productive while off hunts, one thing I think would be great is having them sort your castle chests/storage to place items in relevant areas, organizing can be a real time-killer and I feel like creating a system that marks storage to them by relevant/closest crafting/refinement, possibly by allowing us to tag the storage ourselves as something, or by having them essentially compulsively sort.

Zeyv MergedI would love some additional functions for servants to help out around the castle with automation and the likes. Think of some of the following functions:
* Take finished products out of machines and store them in the nearest storage unit that already has that product in it (like compulsive counting).
* Keep adding a resource to an indicated machine/object from a nearby storage unit so long as the machine is producing and/or so long as the resource is available.
* Cut down anything that is fully grown in specified planters/growing beds. The resulting resources can then be stored like indicated above, or by simply leaving it in their inventory.
* Turning on/off mist braziers during the day/night.
It would be the best if we can specify a specific storage unit for the servant to take from/place in, but using anything like the compulsive counting that's already in the game, or a system where it will take / store in any chest that's in the same room could work as well if that's eas -
