V boss heal or replenish current blood
Many times you kill a v boss and you are low health or even halfway down on your current blood. It would be nice after the feeding to get something more from them. It could even be a temporary buff to health regen, or something in that fashion.

KomurotoSo like a 'V Boss' blood type based on the gear level of the boss you're fighting?

DaNkstaBosses within 10 levels of you could restore some of your current blood type.

loopyou know what would be cool?
each V blood having a specific buff that lasts 30 minutes (server configurable)
- beatrice would give you move speed
- alpha wolf would give you pacification of animals
- quincy would give you pacification of bandits
- solarus would give you +50 sun resistance
- frog boss would give you longer dashes
- clive the firestarter would make you deal more damage with explosives
- christina would give you spell lifesteal
- BLESS THIS SHOT would give you faster projectiles
only 1 v blood boss can be active at a time to prevent abuse
possibilities are endless
healing and blood replenish would also be cool to have -

Lyusthis would also prevent someone from killing you right after you finish the boss in pvp, it would be fantastic.

ErikThis makes me wary of encouraging higher level players to kill random low level bosses out of convenience. Even if the feature is level gated, one can always remove gear after killing one to drop down.

ArcherIt does seem like something is missing when feeding on the V Blood of a boss doesn't have any effect at all on your blood volume or type.

AgniescuFeeding on the powerful blood of a V Blood should indeed be more rewarding the higher the level of the boss is. Right now it feels a bit underwhelming. One idea is to just give you +25ish % to your current blood type.
Maybe consuming the boss's "heartblood" would also give you a PvP protection for like 30 seconds? -

DaveThe original idea I had was that you would just replenish your current blood type by 25%, or a minimal buff of 'something' after the v-boss feed. The idea of the buff was to maybe increase healing rate by a %, for a very short time frame, maybe 15-30 seconds. Nothing overly complex, or nothing creating a new system or balance issues.

cinaedaI agree with the replenishing blood suggestion, possibly just your current blood type to make things easier.

KaiI agree, it kinda feels useless to kill them again as they don't even atleast replenish your blood. Except when you want them to drop that headgear you like, which not all of them has.
And the buff after killing one mentioned above seems nice. It doesn't have to be exactly those suggested buffs but imagine you're a fresh vamp and you've just killed the Alpha Wolf for first time, and you get this buff you wouldn't get anywhere else as well after killing him. It's quite useful, and I'm pretty sure even max level vamps would benefit from that. This would make killing V Blood bosses you've already beaten again meaningful.
It's like another blood type, a V Blood type, but it doesn't have to have the same tiered bonuses as normal blood types. Unique buffs would be nicer. -

spacefiddleIt is a little strange that you get zero blood from drinking the special blood xD
I think a health or temp regen buff etc. is overcomplicated and would then need to be tuned; instead, it would make sense if draining a V Blood boss simply refilled your blood pool. Even if a boss provided +5 litres or something, as opposed to a guaranteed refill; it's weird all these little scrubs running around sustain me but the Bigbads with their ancient bloodlines have zero nutritional value ;)
So: TL;DR, make a V-Blood target successful drain give +5 litres or so to your current pool (keeping Type the same), it's special blood after all. The player can then handle healing themselves (or running like hell). -

DavidI got an idea, taking V Blood gets you an instant 100% of that particular blood type. This would also show off how powerful the 100% types are.
Animals & Monsters: 100% Creature (This could also be your first reliable 100% source by summoning the putrid rat until you get cages and go hunting.)
Casters: 100% Scholar
Bow/Ranged users: 100% Rogue
Beatrice the Tailor: 100% Worker
Warrior and Brute will have to be settled on a case-by-case basis. -

pagerragerDefinitely would be nice to be at least half of my HP after I drink their V-blood, when the conflict has settled down.

MarcoIt could be a very great idea!
Personally, once I've killed a V-Blood I'll not want to run into them again.
Having something more than just "unlock poweups" could be a great way to be enticed to fight them again.
V-Blood are a great thing but a little bit "wasted" once defeated the first time.
