Castle Naming on Map

I would like to be able to click on a castle i’ve discovered on my map (either one of mine or an enemy castle) and give it some custom name on my map so I can remember what clan or individual that castle belongs to. Alternatively I could name all of my castles so I can remember which of my castles has what resource/what that castle is used for (ex: iron mining outpost / Garden Castle)

This sounds like a cool idea but I bet it would take up a decent amount of resources with everyone customizing their own maps. Maybe just have the creators name on the map?

I think this is a great feature! I made a similar feature request on the V Rising subreddit, but I think it would be cool to click on the castle heart and rename it like other interactibles like storage containers and minions.

Or just simply allow us to mouse over a castle and see owner on map.

It'd be nice if the clan information that pops up on the map when you're nearby the castle stayed. I think it should stay even if the clan moves/loses the castle until you run close by it again.

I'd suggest adding custom tags to the map other than just a cross with custom labeling, will improve map usage a lot

Even having each castle you discover named for its creator would be helpful. Right now, you have to find a castle and can see who built it when you're there (which is great), but that info doesn't translate to your map (which feels silly.)

This would be a nice feature as it would take a lot of backend work away from the server trying to update your map with the castle details. Seen some servers showing castles in decay for a good 10mins when it's not, and also players names not coming up all the time.

Yea, this is great idea, if you are near it you already know who owns territory, this would be great feature. Custom marks on map would be great aswell

I'm surprised by how supportive this idea is, In pvp castle names shouldn't appear to anybody other then clan mates. pve I could understand.

Great idea! It's a small detail but it adds a lot of depth. Could be done VIA castle heart.

but instead of naming a castle it would be better to place a mark which you can name and save on map.

I believe the castle icon on map( as it presented today) could be somehow connected to real castles. So any changes - like moving castle hearths, destroying, and so on, - can cause an errors.
