Castle fog of war
1. Make so players will not be able to see furniture and interior of castle until they break wall and have visibility.
2. Make so it is similar to losing visibility on enemy npc or players
This calls for good strategic so enemy will not know to avoid which room when attack
Right now raiding is too easy due to these loophole

FurTotally agree. Nothing within the castle should be visible from outside just by turning the camera.

RaivanxThat's absolutly needed, anyone outside a castle clan should not be able to see the insides, similarly as you can't see someone when you are behind a rock.

CCThis would strengthen the honeycomb meta substantially though, currently a handful of spots are incredibly strong because they allow for so much more honeycomb than others and this would exacerbate it.

KomurotoI agree, but the only exception I have on this is if you're in the same clan.

Eric DTo expand on this, while in bat form you should NOT be able to hover over the roof of a castle and have a tool tip pop up for different structures built there. Makes scouting a castle from the air and getting a good idea of enemy base layout way too powerful.

encrypt128bitI cannot agree with this more, it's too easy for raids to scout the castles best location to attack.

Ken SvenssonI totally agree that everything behind the wall should disappear, just like enemy mobs, players, etc. When they run behind an object.
I realize that a much broader range of problems would come about with this kind of fix. As some things behind a corner that isn't supposed be invisible might get lost in such a "fix".
As a temporary workaround, you could have a mist tower that makes visibility extremely poor, to the point that only doors are barely visible upon waking right up to one, and the only thing that informs you there is a door is the use button (i.e. "knock knock") display.
Think of how smoke screens / grenades work in competitive first person shooter games.
This should just be another constructable thing, or just make it part of what the mist brazier does out of the box. -

ShoresyCastle walls should just only turn invisible for the owner of the castle (and respective clanmates)
No person outside of the clan should be able to clip the camera through a castle.
This is also relevant so you can't see the type of flooring used - to be able to tell what kind of room it is. -

Matt BI am wondering if this is deliberate to allow you to plan attacks as it might be too easy for a defender to create doors that go nowhere and mazed bases that would take too many golems to break.
I agree with your suggestion, though. Furthermore, you should not be able to mouse over building inside castles and see what they are. You can even do this in bat form, just fly above a base and mouse over the roof to see where certain buildings are. This makes it even easier to plan a raid.
Perhaps there is some way a "scout" function could be added if they make it so you can't see inside other castles. The Eye of Twilight could possibly use resources to give temporary vision of an area or a castle. -

PhoenixThis should be limited to pvp. Playing pve someone moved in behind me and started blocking off my exits. I should be able to see if there is a lot of structures inside and be able to determine if my new “neighbor” is going to be able to block me off

Zirofurther more to this, it should be room-based, not okay one walls broken and now I'm inside, you need to see the items in the room to reveal it, floor and walls designs too

Dakotaplus one here.
Raiding is already "easy" once we get to the point where the mats come incidentally. More friction for raiders! Make them consider the cost of the golems. -

Ms.MediocreYes, please. I made a maze to get my heart but it's pointless if they can see which way to go.

BreninYeah, my castle feels really vulnerable, i don't enjoy that.

IngweI agree, and just to piggyback on 2 ideas, the mist tower sounds awesome to obscure vision, but also as a workaround maybe for the massive honeycomb meta, if you put the mist tower down it takes a certain radius where you cant honeycomb (it takes 4x4 or 6x6 area) which will make for strategic placement to protect it but also incentivize enemies to go for the tower maybe so they can see better? I think there's a good solution with the ideas here, together with a wall that can curve to make those bat landings on corners impossible.

OverthrowIt must not be visible. You know your castle, the enemy does not. What cannot be is that you have spent 300 hours with your castle, you have worked on an important defense and that 3 or 4 clans attack you at the same time and kick you out of the server. And this can happen without you being to play. You can come back from work one day and have lost 300 hours of gameplay. That seems fair to you. Not for me.

TimThis is nice. But on PVE servers, We want our tables and gardens to show through windows and doorways etc. This change could absolutely destroy PVE. Please do it cautiously.

MICHAEL DELEONARDHere let me throw in this idea for you on this. Go ahead and black out castle interior items but add a power lets call it clairavoyance. It allows for we are able to do right now, peek through walls and see furniture and stuff, but also things like servants etc. That way we have the security we want while still allowing for scouting.

Tomas Duchanwas wondering if this would be possible. Enemy players or people not in your clan shouldn't be able to see inside, unless you have a window there.
